Cooperation and Development Institute is launching a call for applications to recruit one person for the position of Project Manager. We are looking for a result-focused professional that contributes to CDI with his/her project management expertise, mainly in the following fields covered by our work:
- EU accession process
- Regional and Crossborder Cooperation
- Regional Development
Description of indicative tasks
- Ensures overall operational management of specific Project(s) and delivery of their results in accordance with the project documents and work plans;
- Ensures preparation (when applicable), update and implementation of ongoing projects work plans for their timely delivery;
- Monitors, corrects, reports, closes projects components and activities – narrative and financial – as per agreed plan of action and respective budget;
- Initiates and manages cooperation with the relevant project partners, subcontractors, individual consultants and beneficiaries in line with project provisions and procedures;
- Ensures that project accounting records and supporting documents are kept and required financial reports are prepared;
- Works closely with CDI team in related fields of work;
Qualifications requirements
- A university degree in the field of political sciences, economics, business, law, public administration or other relevant field;
- At least three years’ of project/programme management experience or work practice in management positions as above;
- Excellent written knowledge of English;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Detail-oriented way of working;
- Familiarity with the EU integration process in Albania will be an asset;
