Only four months after the official inauguration, the program of Cooperation and Development Institute, Shtetiweb.org and his recent initiatives Curiaweb, is nominated for the World Summit Award 2013 as the best Albanian portal for digital content in the “e-Inclusion and Strengthening Citizen “. WSA evaluation criteria include among many others and “the quality and understanding of the Shtetiweb.org content, ease of use and quality of presentation.”
In the next stage, on 29 August in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Communications of the meeting of the WSA Grand Jury, where experts will be present multi-media world famous from all countries world. World Summit Award is organized by the International Center for New Media based in Salzburg, Austria. WSA developed in strategic partnership with the United Nations Organization through UNIDO and UNESCO and supported by many institutional partners such as the European Commission, the Government of Estonia, as well as multinationals most widely known as T-Mobile, Blackberry, SAP, etc..
