Channelling South-East Europe 6 Civil Society contribution to the Common Regional Market

Goal: Bring in South Eastern Europe 6 CSOs into the monitoring and implementation phase of the Common Regional Market.

Specific objectives: 

  • simplify and explain CRM components and how they impact the daily life of SEE6 citizen, and increase CRM visibility;
  • monitor and report progress on the three agreements signed by the SEE6 governments in the framework of CRM in November 2022 (i.e. on Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications; on Recognition of Professional Qualifications for Doctors of Medicine, Dentists and Architects, and; on Freedom of Movement with Identity Cards).
  • identify, explain and support CRM role in the Berlin Process 2.0 and on Enlargement; and;
  • propose constructive ways for the engagement of CSO in CRM policy-making.

The main results of the project are:

  • create critical mass of knowledge on the importance of CRM for SEE6 convergence with the EU, and on its tangible impact to the citizen;
  • contribute to the creation of societal consent and bottom-up pressure for advancement in relevant CRM key Areas;
  • increase the contribution of CSO to the implementation of CRM as based on the example of the SEE6 business community and therefore increasing CRM legitimacy towards SEE6 citizen
  • concretely support good governance, reforms and regional cooperation in the region.
