The President of Montenegro has given the green light to the ratification of the following laws, approved earlier by the Parliament:
- Proposal for a law on the confirmation of the Agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications for doctors of medicine, doctors of dentistry and architects in the context of the Central European Agreement on Free Trade;
- Proposal for a law on the confirmation of the Agreement on the recognition of qualifications in the field of higher education in the Western Balkans;
- Proposal for a law on the confirmation of the Agreement on freedom of movement in the Western Balkans with an identity card.
Additionally, at the session held on December 15, 2023, the Government of Montenegro adopted the draft Law on Confirmation of the Agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications of nurses, veterinary surgeons, pharmacists and midwives in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (here).
The monitoring of CRM with focus on the Mobility Agreements is carried out by CDI in the framework of the CSO’s contribution to Berlin Process, with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office, and in partnership with Estima, Institut Alternativa, Institute for Development Policy (INDEP), Centar za politike i upravljanje – CPU and Centar savremene politike.
