Preparation of Education Concept on Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation for Prespa National Park in Albania (PNP)

The objective of the project is to create a concept for environmental education in the National Park Prespa based on the biodiversity and cultural and environmental assets of the Park. The project is part of the bigger project “Transboundary Biosphere reserve Prespa – Support to the National Park Prespa in Albania” funded and implemented by KfW Entwicklungsbank.

The main target groups for the educational activities will be identified from CDI. The values of the National Park of Prespa will be assessed according to the educational potentials and a comprehensive educational program for the target groups will be produced. CDI will prepare an investment plan to implement the education concept and a business plan to cover the recurrent operational costs of the education concept. Pilot elements of the education program will be implemented. CDI will elaborate also a proper communication tools for the Park Administration to communicate the education possibilities in the country. All the above will be implemented in close partnership with the administration of the National Park of Prespa and the KfW project team.
