Cooperation and Development Institute is launching a call for applications to recruit one Project Officer (full-time). We are looking for a result-focused professional that contributes to CDI with his/her project management / administration expertise, mainly in the following fields covered by our work:
- EU Integration Process / Regional Cooperation
- Good Governance
Description of indicative tasks
- Follows-up, on a daily basis, with project partners, beneficiaries and donors, to guarantee smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the projects;
- Support with research, and with the elaboration of project work plans, identifies benchmarks, follows and reports on their implementation, takes measures – as agreed with Project Manager(s) – to correct when needed;
- Assists in projects financial resources management, HR management, efficient procurement and logistical services;
- Provides administrative/logistic support for meetings, seminars, workshops, events, informal meetings, and other outreach and public events;
- Prepares PR material (photos, text, etc.) and adapts them to CDI media outlets;
- Establishes and maintains project information systems (including paper and electronic filing systems);
- Assists in the preparation of research papers and subsequent presentations by extracting/summarizing project documentation and other related information;
- Supports the Project Manager(s) and the project team in properly communicating the project;
- Support the timely preparation and submission of progress reports, donor reports, project reviews, financial reports, audit reports and any other required project reports;
Qualifications requirements
- A university degree in the field of political sciences, economics, business, law, public administration or other relevant field;
- A master degree will be considered as an asset.
- At least 3 (three) years’ of professional experience in project management /administration area;
- Experience of school or work abroad will be an asset;
- Excellent written knowledge of English;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Detail-oriented way of working;
- Familiarity with the EU integration process in Albania will be an asset;
