Supporting Harmonious local development in the new Durres Municipality through promotion of inland and rural areas

The Project’s main goal is: Promotion in-land & rural areas profile in the New Durres Municipality (NDM). The project will map and link the most appropriate wine producers in a Wine Road.

Its objectives are:

1. Promotion of the tourist profile of inland & rural areas of New Durrës Municipality;
   2. Increased economic support for population through income generation from local activities
   3. Creation of cohesion links among different villages through same activities;

Main activities:

1. identify the main wine producers and vineyards, location, type of grape, type of wine;
2. in close consultation with them build a short marketing profile of each selected producer, build up a logo / identification sign of the local terroir;
3. train & equip the selected producers in tourist hospitality & wine tasting equipment;
4. build a digital map with the selected vineyards & wine cellars & descriptions of each location & promote it;
5. closing conference promoting the community of local wine producers, & establish panels of information for tourists
