SAGOV Plus – South Adriatic Connectivity Governance Plus

Aim:
SAGOV Plus will aim to use SAGOV results for better coordination and slender governance to support the institutional efforts in promoting the Montenegrin and Albanian nodes into core status of WB European Transport Corridor.
Specific objectives:
- Promoting, advocating and supporting primary nodes in the maritime sector in the South Adriatic Area, as part of new TEN-T regulation
- Capitalizing the outcomes of the SAGOV project with regard to regional governance and cooperation between relevant authorities in Puglia, Albania and Montenegro
The main results of the project are:
- Successful organization of 7 events (workshops and B2B) covering all the partner countries;
- The events successfully cover all the stakeholders that constitute the target group i.e. technical staff in charge of preparing mature dossiers; policymakers in charge of transport connectivity in the South Adriatic area; politicians in charge of prioritizing and implementing
- infrastructure projects; EU officials; businessmen; academia, etc;
- Through SAGOV plus, the engagement of Albania and Montenegro in promoting maritime connectivity is communicated, promoted and supported with the goal of reaching decision-makers in EU etc.
