Channellig SEE6 Civil Society contribution to the Common Regional Market and Berlin Process

Goal:To bring in and consolidate the engagement of SEE6 CSOs into the Berlin Process, by building up on the achievements of the 1st project

Specific objectives: 

  • Consolidate CSO engagement in CRM implementation through Outreach, Monitoring and Engagement. Increase visibility on the ground of the Berlin Process endeavor;
  • Ensure continuity and coherence between the yearly Berlin Process Summits; and support the contribution of BP to Enlargement in SEE6, and to the Growth Plan;
  • Contribute to the Regional capacity building & networking in the WB6 for the Berlin Process with focus on Regional Development and Territorial Cooperation.

The main results of the project are:

  • Increased CSO engagement in Implementation phase of 4 Mobility Agreements (MA);
  • Increased visibility and outreach of CRM advances and of BP efforts in general for the development and convergence of WB6 with EU, including the acquis;
  • Monitoring of implementation on the ground and impact of 4MA to SEE6 citizen;
  • Follow up with CEFTA CRM RAA process;
  • Spring events on Berlin Process successfully organized in 2024 and 2025;
  • TCF24 (underlining the 10th anniversary of BP) and TCF25 successfully organized;
  • Contribution to the CSO engagement in the Growth Plan and on its synergies with Berlin Process;
  • Solidification of CSO-powered cooperation platform amongst regional cooperation sectorial initiatives (RCC, CEFTA, TCT, EnC, RESPA, etc)
  • Development of institutional Connectivity Nodes in Southeast Europe based on Berlin Process methodology;
  • Increased contribution of BP into regional cooperation and Enlargement in general;
  • Contribution on the debate on the future of BP;
  • Promotion of synergy between BP and EU regional and territorial cooperation / single market / etc programs that include SEE6;
  • Increased involvement of regional stakeholders in connectivity and regional cooperation dynamics contributing to the convergence of the region with EU;
  • DG NEAR takes into account our recommendations with regard to Growth Plan.
