Study on Corruption in Albania

According to the 2015 European Commission Progress Report, corruption remains widespread in Albania, despite the adoption of a new anti-corruption strategy and action plan. In the framework of the “Preliminary Study on Corruption in Albania”, Cooperation and Development Institute will prepare a research paper aiming to identify the features of corruption and its perception in Albania.
The paper will provide a comprehensive insight into the current country situation, including corruption main features, the institutional framework for combating the phenomenon, the implementation and monitoring of anti-corruption measures, the role of non-state actors, the deployment of of technology in combatting corruption, etc.
